To me you sound like you're getting VERY close, maybe even be tomorrow.... :)

When I lost my mucus plug with my son, I went into labor that day (38w) and had him the next morning.

I'm not as far along as you are, but close...I've been having SO much pressure on my pubic bone...lastnight the contractions, crampiness, lower back (middle) tightening up and I couldn't move.   Even rubbing on my belly didn't help.  I was up CONSTANTLY peeing, but I was VERY thirsty too....

Do you increase of discharge?  Like watery, but not leaking?  I've just started to get that, usually that means you're close :)  You might even get a pink tinge to it...

Seriously if the contractions start back up, you can always call you doctor or L&D and ask then what they think.

When I lost my mucus plug, I remember freaking out because they tell you if you bleed, to call...so I did, but they weren't conserned because I was over 38 weeks.  They just told me to watch for 4-5 contractions in a hour and then show up there....

Good luck and I hope this kinda helps.  :)   I'm thinking of you
