your partner can alway have them removed via lazer surgery its a simple proceder as i have had it done, they inject the infected area then remove it takes about 5mins to remove them i have had 20 removed within 2months
I have a friend with this. She has had multiple operations in many places. They won't operate on some of the tumors to remove them for two reasons: She has had so many surgeries, so postponing as much as possible and avoiding surgery is in her best interests for this reason. And, like you, she has some tumors in places that the doctors and surgeons feel are too risky to operate because the operation either has a very high risk of killing her or disabling her a lot more than she already is. There is a huge risk of cutting the wrong nerves. She has some in the base of the neck, too. That's what they tell her. It's too dangerous.
One place the tumors are located is either really close or right on the larynx. They obviously don't want to perform this surgery unless it's a life threatening emergency, because she might not be able to talk--or worse. And, she has asthma as a direct result of these awful benign tumors. I think we're all thankful for the most obvious part of this baffling disorder--the tumors are not malignant. They sure have caused my friend some limiting disabilities already, though. She manages to stay positive through all of this, though. I think she does deal with depression, but she tries to hide it because she worries how it will affect others who deal with depression. But, for the most part, she really does stay positive.
I don't think she is on medhelp. I've mentioned this site to her before, but I think she is just too busy.
