sorry ladies but i got a question i need an asnwer to..lol..i understand u r supposed to bleed for awhile after delivery even after a csection which is how i deleivered.but at this point i have stopped bleeding and am having like a gooey yellowish/gold discharge..is this normal????i dont remember this with my first child but it has been many years.nothing is bothering me as far as pain or smell or anything so i dont think i have any sort of infection but i was just curious if this has happened to anyone else.i was also wondering if anyone could tell me the actual reasoning behind having to wait 6 weeks to regain a sex life if u delievered via csection.i know ur bleeding and need to wait for that to end but ifthat ends sooner is it still unsafe?is there something medical that would actually or could actually go wrong with u,im just wondering becaudse with valenitnes day coming up and that being exactly one month from my delivery date the idea of being with my husband is nice.but if theres a chance i could mess something up i will hold off until the 6 week mark.but i know i have heard of woman finding out they r pregnant at there 6 week check up so not everyone waits apparently...

I had a c-section and I barely bled at all, but I did have a lotof mucus for several weeks.  I asked my doctor why I had to wait 6 weeks for sex since I had a c-section, and he said that any dialation that occured before I had the section could pose a risk for allowing infection into my uterus.  Even so, I never did wait the six weeks, I just waited until I was confortable and it didnt hurt.

that much i knew and hes been informed..lol..since i havent been able to restart birth control yet..but i didnt think id be thinking bout it either but i very much am.i will wait to get the ok though, i think..ifi can hold out that long..isnt that terrible..

i didnt wait the 6wks after any of my children...i waited until 4wks with the first...2wks with the second...and i havent even thought of a sex life with a third child LOL!

you are very fertile within the frist 6wks of delivery. that is one of the main reasons doctors ask you to wait to resume a sex life. its all up to the individual.

i know u r supposed to wait after either type of delivery i was just wondering what the actual reasoning is and if you could physically harm something by doing so sooner

you have to wait six weeks before you have sex even if you delivered vaginally, i had that yellowish goldish discharge too, and I still do, it is normal so dont worry about it.....
