Spots of Blood

I have been taking xanax for 2 months and had a hard bowl movement with some blood on toilet paper.  Did I strain too much. Wiped again after cleaning myself and nothing there.  Should I worry or is it just from straigning?

More than likely it was just from straining. Like the previous post said if the blood was bright red and there wasn't too much of it you probably just had a small tear in the anus or rectum. No big deal. If this keeps happening you might be concerned about hemmroids, but those typically occur from straining. If you soak in a warm bath it helps moisturize the anus and can eliminate some of the bleeding issues.

It is my understanding that if the blood is bright red that is is close to the exit.  Possible hemmroids??
