Taxotere & Tremors

In January of 2007 while receiving my last treatment of taxotere for breast cancer I began getting violent leg tremors.  Sometime later the tremors extended to my head and arms.  It has been over two years since they started and the leg tremors are once in awhile, but the head tremors are every night when I'm falling asleep and in the morning when I wake up.  If I try to rest during the day and close my eyes I will also get the head tremors.  Over the two year period they have gotten lighter, but I'm concerned that they haven't gone away & happen everynight when falling asleep.  I was told they were not from the taxotere, but it was during my treatment with taxotere they started and I've had them ever since.   I've had a cat scan and MRI two years ago when they started and nothing was found.

Has anyone else had a similar experience or offer any suggestions?

These are not side effects of the drug but very often pt.s experience side effects that aren't usually listed. You might visit a discussion group where there may be someone with a similar experience. If you do try this site, click on the "Meeting Place for Survivors" section which is the first one listed on the right side of the page. A great group of women who are more than willing to share their experiences.    bcsupport.org
