It really will not go away...what did I do wrong?

OK, I HAVE to finally post my story or it wouldn't be fair to all the people who posted theirs and have helped me out during this tough time.  So I was dating a girl for about 2 months after not having sex for over 1.5 years because i was in a long term relationship and we decided (no sex before marriage).    Well I had unprotected sex with the new girl I was dating and 3 weeks later I tested positive for Chlamydia.  I was eventually tested for everything else and came up clean other than Chlamydia.  The sensation of course was the drippy feel, but no discharge or staining, and my balls were tingling/itchy sensation.  So I was prescribed Doxy and Zithro right off the bat at the same time bc the doc was treating for Gohnorreah as well before the results came back and (it was a long time ago) but I remember the sensations going away while I was taking the meds.  I took them religiously and never missed one.  Well as soon as I was done the symptoms came back.  So I was prescribed Cipro (which I heard doesn't even work) and finished those off but still had the sensation.  So because I was still feeling the sensation I went to another Dr. and was prescribed Zithro again.  Still didn't work.  Then I was prescribed Cipro again and it still did not work.  So 4 wonderful months have passed and I still have the same symptoms.  One of the most disheartening parts of this story is my visit to the Urologist a few days ago.  I was super nervous for some reason but still had hope that I would be fixed with another antibiotic.  He checked me out (now I am used to it) and I went over in detail all of the stuff I took and even my diet & exercise.  He blatantly told me that had nothing to do with it and he would no longer give me antibiotics because in his words "the chlamydia is gone."  OK if it was gone how could I STILL have the same exact sensations?  I SHOULD have asked him to test me again to settle my nerves, but I was so nervous i just forgot and he rushed me out anyways.  Anyways, I still feel like I have Chlamydia and really believe I do.  I have seen that my treatment is 95% effective on a different site, so I guess I fall in that other 5%. The Doc said i had Overactive Blatter and gave me some meds that have not made me feel any different for the past few days.  He said that something could have "went wrong in there" and we will "talk in a month"  I am going to go to another urologist for a 2nd opionion AND to get a test because I really think I still have Chlamydia still. And now I am dating another girl who I am really getting along with but it seems a little odd for the past 2 months that I am COMPLETELY avoiding the sex situation, even though I want to, because I would NEVER wish this on somebody and I really do not know how safe a condom would be for her, but I feel REALLY bad because I did receive oral and now I am worried she could still get it.  So I guess I have a few questions.  Can somebody get it from oral sex?  Do i still have Chlamydia?  If I don't what the heck is going on with me?  What could the Dr. possibly "see" in a month if he sticks something in me?  And can I have protected sex with my partner without her not getting infected?  I hope this helps all you guys out there, it could be worse, but yes this *****.

You don't have anything to give to your new girl, but make sure that she's been tested for stds before having unprotected sex with her.

Thank you so much for the response.  I actually had sex with her for about a month and then broke up, started feeling the sensations, then a week later I got tested, that was back in November.  I have not had intercourse since that last time in November.  Only have received oral once and that was about 3 weeks ago from a new girl. And I do masturbate, which I really don't think it should affect the infection.  I did my best to contact the Infector to tell her that I had it, but she got back with the guy who most likely gave it to her and wouldn't return my calls/texts.  So No I have not had sex since I got tested & treated.

And I did not mention that the Urologist gave me Vesicare for 30 days for overactive bladder. No idea what he thinks that is supposed to do.  Oh well maybe a miracle will happen and all the sensations will go away today. One last question:  Can I possibly give this to my new girl?

Thank you again and if you have any other ideas please let me know!!! :)

You've been on both of the meds that cure chlamydia, and while each one has low failure rates, you took both.  There's not a doubt in my mind that you were cured.

I wonder, however, if you have been re-exposed.  Has your partner been treated?  If she hasn't, and you had sex with her, you could have been re-exposed.
