Jaxson is 10.5 weeks! How is everyone else?

Hi ladies, just thought I would start a thread to see how everyone is doing? How big are your bundles? How is feeding and sleeping? Who is returning to work soon or who has already returned to work? Just trying to catch up! There is no activity in this forum anymore! =(

Jax is 14 pounds even, and 22 3/4 ". He is 10.5 weeks. He is eating 5 oz or so every 3-5 hours, he goes for about 4-6 hours at night so that is fantastic. We are putting a very small amount of prune juice in each feed due to constipation issues, other than that, we are doing pretty well. I am still carrying around 40+ extra baby pounds ( I gained A LOT) so I am anxiously awaiting Spring weather so I can get out there and walk. l am a little depressed b.c of my appearance, but I am trying to stay busy...

Whats new with you and your little one??

And even thought I lost all  of my baby weight, I still have the "blob" of skin hanging out, too.  I can't stand it!

Sophia has her 2 month checkup last week. She is 12.6lbs and 25 inches, 95% weight and 90% height or maybe that's the other way around! Can't remember!  She is up to 6oz bottles every 3-4 hours, and her last bottle is anywhere from 8-10pm and that one is just 4oz.

Laura,
I did not gain that much weight during my pregnancy due to GD diet but also have trouble shedding the pounds.  I still have about 7-8 extra pounds on me.  I go for a walk every day with my dd but that does not help much.  Do you think that all that extra skin on our tummy will ever go away??  Perhaps those with older kids can answer this question...

Glad to hear everyone is doing well!

It looks like Jaxson is a monster compared to all the other babies! =)   I dont mind, I love his chubby cheeks and legs! He's in the 90th% for weight and 60th% for height. I am sure it will all even out as he grows...

I forgot to mention that Jax has reflux too, so his bottles are formula, rice cereal, and prune juice.. Quite a concoction, but it seems to be working well! I am not back to work, I actually left my job 2 weeks before Jax arrived. We are moving to a new town in about 5-6 weeks, so I will find something once we get settled in our new town. I am also hoping to go back to school part time, but we shall see,, The baby weight is still haunting me, but THANKFULLY it is FINALLY starting to warm up a little in New England! Once we get to 50 -55 degrees, I will get out there and walk with my little man! Lets try and pop on here every so often to check in and see how we are all doing??

Corbin is about 11lbs now and he has grown 3 and 1/4 inches! He's going to be tall like his Daddy. He is doing better through-out the day. He stays up longer and takes a few 2hr naps here and there. He too is eating 5oz every 3hrs or so. I've added cereal to his bottle due to spit-up issues and every other bottle has molasses in it to help ease the constipation the soy formula is causing. He smiles and coo's and the other day he laughed and I almost cried b/c it was perfect timing...alot going on here, fiance has been in the hospital for over a week :(...it was the most precious thing ever! He will stay in his swing/bouncer/glider for a little while but then he gets bored so its a little hectic trying to keep him entertained! I'm a stay-at-home Mommy, but I also do distance learning college courses and those have begun so finding balance between kids/family and school is tough!

Its taking time, but things are getting better :)

Anna is about 11.4 pounds and eats about 3-4 ounces every 3-4 hours.  She can go up to about 7 hours at night.  She is a good sleeper but not a very good eater; can be very fussy at feedings.  She smiles a lot and squeels a lot.  She loves to babble to herself.  I  am still on maternity leave till July and love taking care of her.

good morning all...xavier is 11 weeks today and at last weigh in was 13lbs even and 22 3/4 inches long but that was over a week ago so who knows by now.he eats 5oz every 3 hours like clockwork the only time he goes longer is bedtime.hes gettin pretty good.goes down after last feeding about 9 and gets up around 3 or 4 to eat again and right back to bed.there have been those few fussy nights but other then that hes relatively good.we had to do the prune juice thing every so often here too but he seems better now.the only issue i am having with him is that he has like infant add or something.i know its terrible to say but the boy is not satisfied with anything for more then a few moments..the swing the bouncer the gym..nothing...hes ll laughs and giggles for a few minutes and then hes done whats next he seems to say.he hates being inside and its not nice enough yet to keep him out its making my MIL nutty because she is watching him throughout the day while im working..yup back to work..ive got mixed feelings part of me is sooo glad its a peaceful place as busy as it gets..lol..but the other hates that i cant be there all the time...thats life though right?

Hi!  Sophia is 8 weeks old and weighs around 11lbs and is about 23 inches. She has her two month checkup next week, so this is just estimate after I measured and weighed her last week.  She eats 5oz every 3-4 hours most of the time but sometimes she only takes 3oz. She's pretty good about stopping when she is full.  She sleeps about 4-5 hours a night, which is nice.  Hopefully, around 3 months she will start sleeping through the night especially since I started back to work this week.  Im working 32 hours a week with Fridays off.  I'm giving this a shake to see if it works for me or not.  Guess time will tell...

My baby weight has come off but I was heavier when I became pregnant, so I was very careful on how much weight I gained.  Now, if I could just get that mushy abdominal area to go away, that would be great! Oh and for my breasts to take their shape back!  Yeah, that would be nice!

Hope all is going well for everyone!  Thanks Laura for starting this thread!
