blue flashing light in eye

I also have a flashing blue light in the coner of my eye.  The doctor said the eyes look good.  I am currently taking drops for dry eyes.  I also had and mri and the nerve looked good.  There are some questionable "things" on the mri a little farther back that I will be having looked at by a neurologist in two weeks.  I also just was diagnosed with fibromyalgia so I don't know if this is all related but I am scared about the whole thing.  Excpecially the mri having some stuff on it.  My eye also is aching me and i am having some numbness on the sides of my face.  Hoping this will go away soon.  I'm very nervous about the whole thing.  Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you the doctor did recomend that after I see the neurologist in two weeks I should probalbe follow up with the neuro-ophthalmologist.  I guess I'm just nervous to wait that long to see someone.

You should see a neuro-ophthalmologist if the neurologist does not determine the origin.
