Corbin is 3 monhts old!!!

As of April 17th, Corbin turned 3 months old. Part of me is thinking...'WOW! 3 months already' while the other part is thinking...'ONLY 3 months?!?' His schedule has finally changed to fit the days and the nights in the right place. He usually goes to bed at about 10pm and wakes up around 7am when his older brothers start waking up and make noise. His eating habits are still touch and go. Sometimes he eats 5oz and the next feeding he only takes 3oz. It has a lot to do with his spit up issues. If he eats 5oz and spits up 2oz of course he's going to be hungry in about an hour and a half. It's killing me on formula though esp. since the stuff isn't cheap! He smiles, coos, and laughs. He loves being in his jumper and his bouncer and watching the lights and anything that moves and/or makes noise! He isn't a fan of tummy time, but he gets in about 45min a day. He also sits in his Bamboo seater and watches the TV...such a bum!

I had my tubal ligation done on April 17th so I can no longer have children. The surgery went very well and I only have 2 very small incsions. The recovery/healing time went very fast. By Sunday afternoon I was back to being myself.

Hope all of you are enjoying your spring & your new little ones :)

Yikes, I didn't type a bad word!  The word I used was to say she finishes her bottles completely.

Sophia, at her two month checkup, was 12.6lbs and 24 inches. She is now up to 6oz bottles every 3-4hours (sometimes she ***** them dry and other times she doesn't take all of it and somedays the spit up is alot and others days is in none-existant) and is sleeping from around 7/8pm to 530am.  Sometimes she stirs during the night and going in to soothe her does the trick.  I try to keep her up later but its a struggle so I just let her tell me when she is ready for sleep. That works for us.  She started this about 2 weeks ago.  She likes tummy time if I use her boppy pillow but doesn't like it if she is flat on a blanket.   We just put her in her jumper-activity romper and Bebe pod seat. She loves both of them!  I can't get over that she will be 3 months old in less than a week!

Jaxson is 14 weeks, 3 "months" old as of April 16th.. He eats 5 - 8 oz bottles (we vary the amounts for different feeds..) every 3 1/2 - 5 hours..  He is NOT sleeping through the night.. He goes down around 9 or 10, up at 3, back down at 4ish, then up again between 5-7... Its freaking killing me. He is a great eater, he weighs almost 16 pounds!! Ugh,, How the heck are you getting them to sleep longer? Jax gets rice cereal in his bottle and makes NO differnce!

On a good note, he can roll from his belly to his back, and loves tummy time, but only in small doses! LOVES his jumper, but is getting sick of his bouncy seat! =)

He's a trip! Having a blast except the nights!

lolagrl,
your guy sounds like a good eater!   I wish Anna ate as much.  She is a good sleeper but a fussy eater.

The only thing that makes Anna nap during the day w/o fail is taking her out for a walk.  A swing works better than a crib as well.  She typically naps in her swing.

where am i going wrong???lol..xavier is 14weeks this week and still not sleeping anywhere near as nicely as ur babies.hes goes down everynight without failure at 9pm but never goes longer then 5 hours and thats on a good night.but after that first "long" stretch its back to every three hours.he is a very big boy he weighs 15lbs snd the docotr said he should be eating 6-7oz bottles every 4-5 hours by this point but he eats maybe 5 if that much every 3 so i guess in turn it may be about the same???anyways any ideas on gettin him to sleep..he also doesnt nap during the day..like 10-15 min quick naps here and there but that is it.

Congrats on getting to the 3 months mark!  Glad that Corbin is doing so well.

Anna is over 12 pounds now and is taking about 4 ounces every 3 hours.  She wakes up around 7-8 am but loves to sleep in afterwards till 10-11  :)  Just like Corbin she loves her bouncer and her swing.  She hates tummy time but is getting better and more patient with that.
