i am taking opium from last six years . I take it three times a day . i take 50 gm in 10 -12 days . Now i just want to get rid of this .i have fear that as soon as i stop it taking i will have attack of paralysis and other diseases .so plz tell me what medicine i should take to leave it ?

Um ... opium is the dried sap of the opium poppy. From this base, which contains codeine, morphine and an oss molecule called thebaine (which gives oxy, hydro, etc. , users the stimulating effect).

I'm surprised if you're in North America, or anywhere uotside of central Asia , India or China, and you can get unrefined opium -- it's tremendously bulky, and is, for export, synthesizes to morphine and then acetylmorphine (Herion). Are you sure you're doing opium?

It has nothing to do with cannabis, and in the true sense of the pharmmaceutical terminology, is a narcotic, or opiate.

by opium..what exactly do u mean..many drugs are derived from opium..pot and most narcotics...a bit vague...r u like smokin hash?  more info needed ?

Boy I am not sure I think your best bet would be to tell your doctor and ask for some help to get off of them.You can do it I know its scary but we are here to help.
