My Dr still hasn't checked me!

I have about 13 days til my due date (Jun 30) and my dr still hasn't checked me.  Even though I have BH all day and night and cramping in my lower back around to my abdomen.  I feel like everyone on here knows how far they've dialated but me.  Anyone else have this issue - with dr. not checking them.  I'm going every week, but no exam.

Sometimes I think my doctor checks me too much. I have been checked almost every appointment. Once I asked that I was curious how far dilated I was and she checked me. I am 40 weeks tomorrow so now I see my doctor every 2 days.

However I am currently in Germany and I am finding things are a bit different than if I was back home in Canada.

Have you asked your doctor to check the status of your cervix and did the doctor give you a reason whether or not this procedure is required. Sometimes you just have to use direct communication.
