Dizziness/ Wooziness

Since January I have been experiencing dizziness and brain fog. One day after work I was feeling a little woozy. Then  I leaned forward on my couch to pick up something I had a sudden intense dizzy spell that lasted less than a minute. Since then I have had a slight imbalance and wooziness or unsteadiness every single day. Some days are better than others. I am generally better in the mornig than in the afternoon.
It's not like a spinning sensation or vertigo- just the unsteadiness. I have had some other symptoms like ear ringing (rigt ear) and a clogged feeling in the ears but that has subsided. but the dizziness still persists. since this all started I am burping continuously- not sure if it is related or maybe the wooziness is unsettling my stomach... when I do burp sometimes I get s few brief seconds of relief.

I have been to an ENT who couldn't determine what was wrong. Did an MRI  and nothing found. Did a hearing test and no hearing loss detected. I have been to a Neuro-otologist who did some positioning tests with my head but says that it isn't inner ear related. However I feel like there is definitely something aggrivating my inner ear. When I lie back and turn my head I don't get dizzy but something still just doesn't feel right with regard to my balance when I am standing and primarily when have to lean my head forward.

Recently my right eye has developed an intermittent twitch on the upper eyelid- not sure if that is related... I have an appointment with a Neurologists coming up to see if they can figure anything out. I'm starting to lose hope a little now because no one has yet to provide a clue of what is going on... just tire of dealing with this!

LRS123,

Thanks for your PM. Just to update the forum- I am still feeling dizziness with no significant positive recovery with those symtoms. Some of the other symptoms have subsided but the wooziness and imbalance are stll therecand sometimes severe enough to affect whether I participate in some physical activities. Doctors have not been able to identify the causes. I live near Duke and UNC medical so there are good Doctors in the area. Time for me to start getting some second opinions.

In January I began to experience dizziness, and unsteadiness. I would take motion sickness med every six hours to just function during the day. Then in Apirl I felt an internal sensation of movement, feeling as though I was on an escalator. Initially I only felt it occasionally, but now it is daily.  In the beginning I saw a neurologist, who felt it was vertigo. I have seen ENT, but no answer. Further testing to simulate dizziness, has been scheduled.
