I am a 48 year old male. I have recently been diagnosed with fasiculations (by a pulmonologist). They occur in my calves, thighs, chest, arms, shoulders and back. They are starting to hurt in my calves. I have had blood work, MRI, PET scan, EMG, EKG, and probably a couple tests I've forgotten. They have all come back negative. I have, over the past year, become weaker. My joints hurt. Balance is terrible. I have to swing my arms if I need to reach overhead. Also, I am short of breath on occasion. My question is, can fasiculations be causing so many of my problems? I have always been a healthy man. Now I can't walk a straight line or lift my arms! The nuerologist can't get me in to see him for another month. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
