Life goes on

Been doing good off and on. Sometimes am better off not dwelling on things. Still have aches and pains. Could be age, could just be me. I don't feel I can blame everything on MS. Some of the symptoms of MS can just be signs of getting older. How do you know for sure?

eye pain

OMG! My eyes hurt like all get out! I have a history of dry eyes but this is ridiculous! I am on Restasis, use ointment at night, and artificial tears all day, but some days they just hurt and irritate me. Seems like I've been irritated a lot lately. Called my neurologist yesterday re: an appt since I got my MRI and neuro-ophthalmology appts. done. Told the receptionist I thought he wanted to see me after I had completed these appts, but she told me I already had one previously scheduled in November. Guess who called me today...yep my neurologist. Have to call him back tomorrow to set up an appt.

I am having pain in the back of my left leg that takes my breath away. It hits, lasts a minute or two then goes away. Is this normal or part of MS? I don't want to blame every little thing on MS. I am getting older and know that brings aches and pains. I hate that this disease is so confusing because it can cause so many things. Other things you think are strange and may be MS related aren't! Argggh! Does anyone else have this pain issue? This isn't the first (or second or third) time this has happened. Any answers out there?

Had my first T3 MRI on Friday. Was a lot faster and louder and shook sometimes. Made me want to laugh when it started shaking like a ride at Disney World, but I kept my composure. Today, one of the doctors I work with, showed me what the scan looked like. Very interesting. Makes me wonder what each of those lesions is doing or causing me to do! Was neat to see but a little scary to. I had a big ole honker in the middle of my head!
