It's been awhile since I've been on here to update about Abel's condition. He has a nasty infection in his left arm along with blood clots in both arms now. On 9/10, he got a full body CT scan done and next Monday (9/17), he gets a full blood panel and we will find out if he is cancer free or not. *crosses fingers* He is now on 140mg of Lovenox shots for the next 6 weeks, Prilosec until further notice, and just finished Bactrim.

Lovenox injection

The results from the Doplar showed that Abel has bloodclots in his arm, which is a condition called Superficial thrombophlebitis. It commonly occurs in patients being treated for testicular cancer for some unknown reason. So for the next 6 weeks, I inject him in the belly with Lovenox. He got his first shot yesterday. My MA schooling has really been coming in handy lately.
