I'm doomed

Urine!   Incontinence, I mean.  Damn.

Woke up from a nap.  Ran to bathroom as usual.  Urinated normally - strong flow, lots of urine - waited for second urine event...urinated a complete second time.   Congratulated myself for successfully outwitting my tricky bladder once again as I waited for any after events...

After I was finished I went into my bedroom and then had a small urine event. (Small by the accounts of mortals but I know that smug goddess Nemisis was chuckling.) I had no sensation of urine starting, tried to stop it with my muscles when I felt the wetness but it did nothing.  I had no control over what was happening at all!

GAH!!!  I'm doomed!!!  (and a little scared)

Nitris Oxide

It went well.  Temp bridge.  Wish they'd done more while they had me there.  Nitris oxide is a great way to go.  Kept my back and neck from spasms.

Found out I can take Vicodin without having itchy reaction now.  Must have been enough years.

Rinsing with Salt water.

Edema.  2 lbs worth!!

Aug 14, 2012 - 0 comments

finger twitching

hand weakness

Evidently, overexertion leads to edema.  Causality=causation,  or true?  I was so worn out last night that I didn't move from the time I hit the bed until the time I awakened 10 and a half hrs later.  Above eyes and hands were puffy and big.  Especially eyes!
Weighed two pounds higher this morning.  I sure hope that's water weight!

Still itching this morning, too.  Took Visteril last night at around bed time.  It helped calm my skin and I got to sleep.

Oooh. I hurt.  Could be 'cause I overslept my GABA AM dose by a couple of hrs.  but I'm thinking that I needn't have been so conscientious and added my left leg exercises last night before bed.  heh.

Hands are sure bad this morning.  Hard to type or pick up cup.

Well, that didn't last long.  heh.  I overexerted again.  But it was [email protected]  until the end...
I invited JR downstairs to share my breakfast and made my usual food.  Easy.  While cleaning up I saw that the coffee maker had coffee and grounds in it from last weekend.  Smelly Ick.  Cleaned that up and cleaned the coffee maker 'cause who knows how long that's been?  Then I noticed the counter prob. hadn't been bleached since the last time I did it a couple of years least under the top cupboard and under the appliances.  Yuck!  Did that, and, well, there was the coffee begrimed doorjamb next to it.  and on...  Had a great time, didn't feel like an "ugly bag of mostly water" waste of space.  Felt useful and like myself!  The morning flew!  I ache and even with an ice pack around my neck I'm too hot.  I don't even have the excuse others have of "I just couldn't help myself" because I have not had that blissful state since childhood.  Mom and Dad saw to that and I do thank them but it would come in handy?  Naw, I like it better this way.  I'm addicted to control over myself.  It's the only thing one can reliably control.  And now I'm babbling and backspacing because half of my words are mistyped 'cause my fingers are jumping all around.  That's another thing.  Doesn't matter if my fingers jump around when I'm scrubbing.  hah!
At least I'm cooling off.  Well, on to updating my symptom tracker with all the bad news.  pffft.

I am adding Ataxia to my list today but i am unsure that I am using it correctly.  If I am then I've had trouble with it some days for a long time.  If it really is when I don't get my food to my mouth and just miss, embarrassing myself terribly, then I do have days with ataxia problems.  I walk through doors leaving the cup I'm carrying to find it's own way through the doorjamb.  Today eating with JR I kept dropping my eggs off the rt. side of my face.  I almost made it in!!  It was the front of my face right next to my mouth!  I swear, a curd or two of scrambled egg got inside my mouth each time!!!  I only did it about 5 times!  We laughed...I felt humiliated but lord knows I should be used to it by now and Jerry doesn't care.  I've done it when I drink for several years.  Especially if I have ice in the glass.  Darned, sneaky ice...  ::blush::
