I'm not having prostatitis right now, but I thought that it might have been caused by allergies in the spring when I had it last year. And because I had stopped taking the allegra. Because it has been a long time since I experienced that and I've been taking Allegra for a long time. Everything seems to be caused by allergies. If I don't take Allegra in the spring I get prostatitis. If I don't take Singulair, I get the canker sore in my throat in the fall. I consider this a theory right now, but pretty good evidence. I have noticed before that if I switch from Allegra to Claratin, I start getting prostatitis in a few days, usually in the spring.
So, just recently, the canker sore in my throat got a lot better but then it came back full strength. I think it is getting better again because my cold is getting better. It is worse when I have a cold or allergies. I'm thinking again that it may be the absence of the Singulair that has allowed it to come back. For 10 years, all the years I've been taking Singulair, I haven't had a problem with this. Now it is almost a constant since I stopped taking the Singulair.
