2013 update.

Well I went to the doctors today.  After complaining about pain for ~13 years now, I was told that I do have FM; but,the insurance may not cover it without a Rumatologist signature for either Lyrica or Cymbalta in which are very expensive.  I know because my hubby takes lyrica for his MD pains with CMT and it is 297.00/month.  Sorry for the miss spellings.  Sigh.  If I had to pay that on top of my other 14 meds it would our total to over way over $1000.00/ month.  Sigh

Anyhow, she is running a ton of bld work.  Ordered a MRI of my spine, Mammogram, Ultra sound of thyroid (due to it feeling enlarged/ possible goiter), and Bone density study.

For my notes; while I was in there I got a Boostrix/adacel, and my third Hepatitis B booster.

After I get all of this stuff done I will then report back in a month in which she wants a yearly gyno exam in which I haven't had for years.
I really wanted a referral to a pain specialist; but she thinks a rumatologist would be best.  I just want some relief!!!!!!!!!  I can't shampoo the carpets w/o being in massive pain for a week or so after.  Not to mention moping the floors.  It's destroying me.  Urgggg Grrrrrrr. I already have a fatty liver and my only relief is alcohol from the pains.  Sigh.
Hopefully they can find a answer this time.  Fingers and toes crossed.  :-)

Do the trackers on Medhelp no longer work?  I can't seem to use mine.
Also I see on the side it has "Ask a Doctor Now".....Do you still just get 2 questions per year for free?

SALT....a cure for my pains!  Really???

After 13 years of struggling with pains and the last few weeks being really bad, not even being able to sit or stand for more than a hour at a time......I think I found the cure.
After reading and re reading tons of articles I saw salt cravings so I looked up sodium deficiency.
As crazy as it sounds:
I made a bowl of oodles of noodles.  Added a bunch of celery salt, onion salt, garlic salt, 2 extra bullion cubes, and table salt to it.  I ate it and also drank some pickle juice afterwards.

I'm going to call my Dr. and find out why or how this could be?  I know with all of my BP issues this was crazy to try; but, I was desperate for anything to work.  I'm just amazed that it did!!!!!!!!!!!

Change in meds

Trying to get used to lisinopril and a slow HR after having it high for some time.  I switched to taking it in the AM along with my Triamterene/HCTZ, and Metoprolol instead of which it was dropping my HR into the low 60's.  I'm just so wiped out feeling anymore.  I hope my body adjust soon......  And realllllly hope they can also figure out why I'm in so much pain all the time.  Mainly with my back; but,  my stomach and all over body pains too.  I feel like a real mess anymore.  Sigh

In case anyone has been reading my post.  Sorry I haven't been on much lately.     My Koenigs health has been bad and I haven't been in the computer room much.

Love ya all.  :-)
