GIRL!

We are having a little GIRL!!! Omg it is  soo amazing. Seeing her little arms and feet and head and spine was just amazing. She actually looked like a baby! We are sooo excited. We both wanted a boy first (big brother) but a girl first is just GREAT! We are sooo happy. It was the best bonding experience ever. This is the first time I have really felt connected to my little one...

Acupuncture

Today was my first day for acupuncture...I am really excited and hopeful! I hope it makes the little bits of nausea that the Zofran doesn't seem to help go away!

The Dr. tapped 4 needles into my tummy and then one into my hand! It was crazy! The ones in my tummy kinda stung for a little bit. I had the strangest sensation to sneeze but I fought it because I couldn't imagine contracting my stomach when I have NEEDLES in it!!

I am really excited because I hope this works! If it doesn't then I guess I just have to be miserable when the Zofran isn't working or wears off.

Heartbeat!

Our baby has a very strong heartbeat! I got to hear the heartbeat today and it was 160 bpm. I am soooo excited. :)

First Trimester Woes

My first trimester has definitely sucked. Now that I have finally some what contained the morning sickness with the Zofran I can kind of "forget" how awful it was. However I still experience nausea and the occasional morning sickness and general blah-ness. I am definitely looking forward to the next trimester! I really hope I have an easier time with it. :)
