The past few nights since I've been on vacation, my sleep is much more consistent. The only problem is I'm still so tired and groggy. Only Vyvanse keeps me going and I'm down to the last three pills. This week is going to get much rougher.

Pain ruined my sleep Sunday night. The pain was so bad that I stayed home and tried to sleep it off - no luck. So, I went to the ER on Monday evening and got a shot of Dilauded. This made me sleepy a few hours later and I slept great and woke up with less pain. The pain climbed through the day and eventually, I was where I was before the trip to the ER. F*****g doctors are so afraid of my addiction and losing their licenses that they won't adequately treat my pain. I will give the physiatrist one month to bring down my pain levels or I will kill myself. It's getting that desperate. Pain has destroyed my life and suicide will be a relief.

I know I'll be accused of drug seeking, but the pain is getting to the point where I can't function. I hate the humiliation of getting the third degree from the doctors. I guess it gets down to the whole "cost-benefit" issue. I'll try to let the pain levels come down and if they don't, a trip to the ER will be in order.

A very busy day with family left my neck really in severe pain. I tried to sleep last night but was unable to doze off until 3:00AM. I woke up this morning still exhausted and I skipped work. Neck pain is already high depsite being in bed most of the morning. I'm worried that I may need to go to the ER today.
