I have been working on my native art, just finished a feather on a beaded piece of leather. I framed it even tho it isn't very good, its mine. Going ahead with the pof thing and meeting new people. I try to take Rusty and go to bed, I put on quiet native flute music to go to sleep, took my Soma and layed down to drift off and all I hear is Desy laughing hard and loud at the tv in the living room. So I am up again. I am such a light sleeper. My neighbor has two hunting dogs, you know the orange and white ones that point? Any who, every time an ambulance goes by, they start howling and they feed off of each other and really howl to beat the band! We live by a sub station for ambulances so it happens quite frequently...sigh!! Well if it wasn't so exasperating it would be funny. Why cant people bring their animals in at night? Oh well, I manage to sleep anyway. All in all life is pretty good I have so much to be thankful for. Concerned for a couple friends on here, always in my prayers. That's my world today. 5-29-14

Life is pretty good here, many blessings to be thankful for. Michael's business is really taking off for him. I am calling about a dog-sitting job in my home, want it so bad. God gives us what we need, not necessarily what we want, but we'll see. Found a new website for my art, this ones sooo cool. Deviant Art is the name, check it out, you can order prints from them too. Me I am there for ideas and inspirations, loads of that there! Still working on several at a time. One is waiting on a frame that's suitable.
  What about this beautiful spring weather? Soooo pretty outside here today its a cryin' SHAME to stay inside. Oh! Bought some seeds for a little flower garden, very excited for that. I got wildfowers, daisies, bachelor's buttons, and more. What to get a little miniature white picket fence to surround it, hope the birds cooperate.
  Had my end tables in the bedroom pushed together to do my art stuff, sort of partially blocking the door? Well this klutz  got up in the night to "go" and ran into the table BAM and fell down! Now my back is killing me, my left leg hurts too, Teach me to turn on a light! Duh! My sister was carrying a platter of cookies the same day and tripped on the curb and scraped her knees, elbow and head! Just call us the Grace Sisters, lol.
  I want to wish all the mother's, step and otherwise an early Happy Mother's Day just in case I don't make it back here. Whatever your plans I hope that you know how incredible you are.
  Take good care of yourselves out there, I think Rusty & I are going to take a little nap after I go see what the rest of you have been up to lately. Darla <3

Proud of my son Michael today, graduating soon with an Associates Degree from American River College, (my alma-mater) Going into his internship for drug and alcohol counseling. This after spending ten years in prison for sales of Methamimphamine? I knew I spelled it wrong! Damn spell check tells you when its wrong but doesn't always correct. Anywho, he has come a long way and his mama is proud! He is now a devout believer in God too and credits all blessings to God, abd the more his faith in God gets stronger the more blessings he receives. He is heavy into service for NA and has become a self made business man. That's my baby! He is 44! You go Michael!!

I have had many blessings lately and although I could sit here and talk about whats wrong in my life, I won't be doing that today. I have realized that you are what you think and I choose to think my life is just the way it is supposed to be, pain and all. I have been using some methods taught to me by a good friend Mr. Alubaba, I know I misspelled that but I don't want to start this over. I guess my son fixed my computer.
I haven't been around lately because I have a new passion in my life, no not a man, I have taken up drawing and painting with acrylics and I am really having a ball with it. I will show you my first attempt at art, don't laugh please I am still learning. I have a tooth that's killing me today, my dentist says there is nothing he can do about it other than give my drugs for the pain because it isn't a cavity it is bone loss he says. Two sides too! OUCH.
My neuropathy and hardening of the arteries doesn't help either. I am always hurting. Most of its my own fault. I missed my friends on here, so I will be back soon. Everyone have a painfree day and I will catch ya on the flip side.
