I finally have a few minutes to get my birth story posted.

I was scheduled for an induction on my due date which was Tuesday 11-1-11 due to gestational diabetes. I was told on Monday that I needed to wait around for them to call me "some time on Tuesday" to let me know what time to go to the hospital. I was so anxious. To my surprise the hospital called me at 7 a.m. and told me to be there at 8:30. I showered, had breakfast, and my husband and I went in. We arrived at exactly 8:30 and checked in. We got settled into the room and the doctor checked me at 9:30 and I was 3 cm and 80% effaced. Pitocin was started at 10:15.
It was a slow laboring process at this point and the contraction gradually starting getting worse. By 2 p.m. they were very painful and averaging between 2-5 minutes apart. I was checked again at 5:15 and I was only 4 cm and 90% effaced so not a lot of progress. At this point my doctor offered to give me a dose of nubane because I didn't want the epidural just yet since I didn't want to risk it prolonging labor any longer. Contractions continued to increase in intensity and at 6:50 I had progressed to 6 cm and still 90%. I pretty much had all back labor.  The back pain was very intense and it was getting to the point that I couldn't take much more. At 7:50  I was 7cm and I opted for the epidural and my doctor broke my water. So the epidural was completely painless and it worked amazingly well for 30 minutes.... I was in heaven and couldn't feel a thing. I was laughing and talking and it was wonderful. Then, as luck would have it the epidural completely stopped working. Out of nowhere the back pain intensified with a vengeance and I was squirming all over the bed because I couldn't lay still during contractions which were now 1-2 minutes apart. I also had major pressure in my abdomen which the epidural failed to relieve. It hurt A LOT. The pressure was something I can't even describe nor did I expect it. My legs were completely numb which tells me that the epidural was doing something so I can't imagine what all of this would of felt like if I didn't get it at all. I was checked again at 10:05 and I was 8 cm and at 10:55 I was 9.5 cm and +1 station. My doctor said I would be ready to push within the hour.
She checked me at 11:55 and to everyone's surprise I made NO CHANGE! I was still stuck at 9.5 cm. At this point she said we would have to continue to wait and she would be back in another hour. This went on for hours. At 2:12 a.m. she checked me and again 9.5 cm. She said his head is tilted and blocking the small amount of cervix that is remaining. We had to make a decision, I could try and push through the small amount of cervix and force myself to 10 cm. There is a risk that the cervix could swell which would block him completely and a c-section would be necessary if this happens. I agreed to try and thankfully with 2 pushes his head pushed through the remaining cervix.Once I made it to 10cm she said If I was to start pushing immediately I could be pushing for 3-4 hours since he was still very high in the birth canal. My doctor recommended I "labor down" for 2 hours to let the baby come down on his own. This was absolute torture as the contractions were 1 min apart and the pressure and back labor were agonizing. At 4:05 she checked me again and the baby was now +2-+3 station and I began pushing. I didn't find pushing to be difficult and since I could feel the pressure I knew when I was having a contraction and was able to push through them. She guessed I would be pushing for at least an hour based on how exhausted I was. When my son's head crowned I heard my doctor yell at me to stop pushing because the cord was wrapped around his neck very tightly. I was so scared and my poor husband had to watch as my doctor rushed around to cut the cord and then she told me to push quickly and his shoulders came out and one more push and he was born. They rushed him to be checked out and it seemed like an eternity before I heard him cry. It was the best sound in the world to hear his first cry. Both my husband and I started crying and he was able to go see him while I delivered the placenta and my doctor stitched me up. I had a 2nd degree tear. I was upset that I wasn't able to hold him immediately but all I cared about at that point was making sure he was okay. Labor was far more difficult and painful then I could imagine even with a partial epidural. My son was huge and my doctor told me if she knew he was this big then she wouldn't of let me labor for so long and would have taken him by c-section so I am grateful that I was able to have him vaginally. I feel like superwoman LOL!

Liam Caiden was born on 11-2-11 at 4:39 a.m. after 18 hours of labor and only 34 minutes of pushing!
He was 9 lbs 6oz and 21 3/4 inch long. He is my world and I love him to pieces!! He is such a good baby, extremely content. I feel so blessed to have him.

I'm freaking out I just took this test when I got home from work. I'm 9 DPO and I can see a line and I SWEAR it's PINK!!

Please!! Does anyone else see it??

Also, these are the Wondfo tests from Amazon - Anyone know if they are reliable and accurate??

I took a test this morning with FMU and most people said it was a BFN. Oh gosh I am really really hoping this is a faint BFP! I had a miscarriage last March and want a baby so bad!

My husband and I CANNOT decide on a baby boy name to save our life! We have our girl's name set in stone so I'm praying for PINK! LOL but we need to have a boy's name decided on as well.

My husband is very picky and requires a few things- # 1- The name cannot be too common, #2 It must be at least 2 syllables to flow with our last name.

I am going to start making journals for the current names we are tossing around so I won't forget them. I would like people to add their opinions and suggestions! Here is list # 1:
