HCG Level 549

Good morning I had my ultrasound yesterday and the lady cldnt see a baby which she said she wasn't going to be able to in the beginning bcuz my hcg level was 549 so she said either i got pregnant after the period i had this month or I miscarried and I'm still spotting so I go back to the Dr 2moro so he can draw more blood and check my hcg level again

hang in there ! You may just be really early . The same thing happend to me i thought I was 7 weeks had bleeding went to the er and they could not see the baby until a week later then no hb for another week it was really stressful now im 31 weeks so miracles happen hoping you are just early love try not to worry .

You may have conceived later then you thought. With my daughter, who is now 2yrs old, I went for ultrasound at 7w5d and only measured 5w2d. Throughout my pregnancy her growth went well and just adjusted my due date.

I would think your dates are a little off too. You won't be able to see anything on ultrasound till your beta is in the 2000 range so please don't feel discouraged. Praying for you and your little bean. Continue to take it easy :)

I would be nervous too. I think it's completely normal. I think your doctor was just trying to say things could go either way. I myself am choosing to believe this will work out well for you. I had bleeding and spotting thru the 1st and part of the 2nd tri so I can relate to the helpless feeling you probably feel right now. Make sure to drink those fluids and stay off your feet. I would also ask about having your progesterone checked. Maybe you could benefit from some for a little bit?
