Cigarette And Nicotine Free

Feb 14, 2014 - 0 comments

It can be done! I've been a non-smoker and nicoteen free since Aug 19, 2013!

This is how I did it:

1 - Started using nicotine lozenges instead of smoking whenever possible (when indoors) and allowed myself to smoke when convenient (in the car, outside, socially).

2 - Started taking generic Zyban or Wellbutrin (buproprion) - it's proven to help people quit. At the same time, I gave up smoking entirely.

3 - Used the nicotine lozenges for a week.

4 - Quit entirely, the bupropion gave me the added strength of willpower.

5 - After two days, strong cravings pass. After two weeks, most cravings pass. For about two months, there would be random cravings - that pass.
