I am a 79 year old male, with no smoking.
4 weeks ago I had a stroke. The Drs Have not been able to determine the source of the stroke.at the same time my at about the same time my O2 saturation levels dropped to the point where I have to be on O2 all the time..my drs sent me to have a TEE(echocardiogram from in back of the heart). This test showed that I had a hole in my heart (FPO). THe DRs think that O2 poor blood maybe shunted from one side of my heart to the O2 rich side , thus reducing my overall o2 Saturation levels. Can Anyone help me with this?
