My Friend, I Care

Apr 23, 2014 - 9 comments

Don't tell me that you understand
Don't tell me that you know,
Don't tell me that I will survive,
How I will surely grow.

Don't tell me this is just a Test,
That I am truly blessed,
That I am chosen for this task,
Apart from all the rest.

Don't come at me with answers
That can only come from me,
Don't tell me how my GRIEF will pass
That I will soon be free.

Don't stand in pious judgment
Of the bounds I must untie,
Don't tell me how to suffer,
And don't tell me how to CRY.

My life is filled with selfishness,
My pain is all I see,
But I need you, I need your Love,

Accept me in my ups and downs,
I need someone to share,
Just hold my hand and let me Cry,
And say, "MY FRIEND, I CARE."

There are all kinds of things that happen in life that can cause Grief.
Divorce, Loss of a Job, Letting go of our Drugs or Booze,  House burning down..PETS..Family & Friends..MANY Things in life we can Grieve for!!! lol

My friend you care, as I care for you, as we must care for each other.

Sometimes I wish I didn't, but I really, really care.
Not much else I can say about that.

I am here. I won't judge.
We all deal with things in our own way.
In our own time.
I grieve with you my friend.
I care.

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8

to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
