The scale is no longer a dreaded enemy! It is MY FRIEND! It helps me stay on track and the few pounds it waivers up and down are fine with me UNLESS I have been eating too much, then it is a gentle reminder to change my course.
It is only a tool and it is proven that those who weigh daily are more successful in their weight loss. However, if a person is not able to do this (and I found it difficult at first), then by ALL MEANS, weigh weekly.
Me and my weight tracker ... along with my scale ... are going to get to be good friends in the next few months ... because it is time to MOVE THAT SCALE DOWNWARD! I've been at this weight long enough and while people say I look fine and don't change .. I am still in the obese category and am targeting 25 more lbs.
First goal ... get to 198!
