To anyone that can offer information:
I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2005. I had a partial colon resection and 6 months of chemo therapy and was in remission until May of 2013 when I found a tumor in my chest wall. I did another 6 months of chemo therapy and then had a chest wall resection where they removed my 5th and 6th rib and then had a portion of my lower left lobe removed. To keep my shoulder from crushing my lung they used Gore Tex to fill in the void. I have been in terrible pain since, I am trying to find information on others who have had this type of procedure done and not been successful. I currently am struggling with unexplained rib fractures. I currently have 5 fractured ribs. I have had PET scans CT scans, blood work etc. While I am super pleased that no cancer has returned, I would like to return to my normal activities and have not been able to.
Please if anyone can offer any type of advice I would greatly appreciate it!
