brain damage

I was diagnosed with mild spasic cerebral palsy when I was born. Due to a brain hemmorrage, I had to undergo 4 brain surgeries, and 9 corrective eye surgeries over the course of 14 years. I don't know what the cause of any of these things is, and I was also 3 months premature.

I want to understand my symptoms, and not feel sorry for myself, but it's hard to deal with certain tasks, especially dealing with heat when cooking, being unable to do my hair correctly (including using a flat-iron and other heat-related items), the inability to drive, and having involuntary movements whenever people try to hug me. I tense up a lot, and wish  I could end that forever.

My dream is to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations, but without the help of another person, I don't know how I'll be able to do that. I also want to have a successful marriage to a Christian man who will be supportive and willingly sacrifice for my well-being (cooking, cleaning, and doing the things I mentioned above with my hair).

I'm glad I found this group. I look forward to sharing my progress.
