Well today I went to do my pre-op stuff for my Total abdominal hysterectomy. I am still nervous and have some worries. I know this is the best choice for me and need it to end the pain. I scared of the pain, and not being able to do my work around the house. I have a great husband but he works and I don't like letting anyone down. Wednesday is the day of my surgery and trying to get ready and remember everything I need for the surgery. I started writing this journal entry and had lots to say now i'm lost to what to say.

Im having my hysterectomy Dec. 30. What type of surgery are you having...laproscopic, di vinci robotic or abdominal cut?
Remember your list from Cherie...she has a pretty good list in her journal of what you should do before and what you cannot do after the surgery. It is normal for you to be nervous....I am too. Pain *****...us women can take the menstrual pain but when it gets out of hand its tough to handle. I am having the di vinci robotic hysterectomy. You can watch the surgery on youtube.com Hang in there and get your house as organized as you can. They way I look at it is.......a lot of women have gone though this and I can and you can too.

HI ang, I am having an abdominal cut because they are prepared for tons of complications from the surgery...Yes Cherie list was great and also you might want to try hystersisters.com Great site and they will send you this great book about everything we will be going through with the surgery...Good luck on your surgery...Hope all goes well
