This Economy

Nov 02, 2009 - 6 comments

This economy needs to start picking back up, otherwise I'm going to be forced to live in a box.

My dad has been laid off for over a year now and my mom is on edge with him. We all are. Since he's home, all he does is drink and complain.

Now my mom's job is in jeopardy. She works for the township attorney and her boss recently hired his own daughter - the biggest priss EVER - and she's caused so much turmoil. The township is firing her boss at the end of this year.

I told my mom that I'd go pick out my box.

Does anyone have a large refrigerator box? :]

I'm sorry for your situation. We have been very lucky (knock on wood) so far. Hang tight things will get better sooner or later. Can it be that bad, if you get to pick out your own box, isn't that like having your own room? ;)

Thanks.
And yeahh, I suppose it's similar. I could deck it out with markers and a flatscreen. Lol!

I hope something good happens for you and your family so you won't have to live in a refrigerator.  Depending on the size, even a polar bear might find a refrigerator cramped.

I wish things were better for you.  This has been a really bad stretch of time.  Life can change so much with job losses.

You try to have such a honest and good attitude, too.

Hugs for you,
:-))))

Things are really stressful at home. I don't even like being here. Trying to have a positive attitude towards this all is harder than heckkk.

Dani...you are an inspiration to me.  You get online and share your presence...perky, zany and bright :-))))  I look forward to your posts & mood changes.  You get me thinking with some of them!

Yes, it is hard when what you depend on isn't supporting you anymore and moods/tempers fly in all directions.  Being sensitive, you aren't always sure how to react.

Makes me want to send tons of hugs to you :-)))  I am praying for you :-)))) (and your family)
