Wow I haven't been on here for a while. This is just an update on my progress. For about a month now I've been drinking herbal every morning, and I think its really helping with my problems. I've been back to school for about 2 weeks and its been great, I haven't gotten any reactions from people. I've been able to work with people for group assignments without a problem. I really think drinking tea every morning is helping. Who would've thought my (possible) solution would be something as simple as tea. I wish I would've known it helps sooner because I wasted a lot of money on useless products that did nothing for me.

So so thankful for your updates, i'm gunna try some tea in the cupboard in the meantime, while you let me know the type of tea you have. Hopefully it works for many people~~~ <3

No problem. I drink celestial seasonings herbal tea, I've tried the lemon zinger and the cinnamon apple spice flavor from that brand so far. The lemon has a better flavor, but I think I respond very well to the apple cinnamon spice (its stronger). They also have detox teas, but I haven't tried those yet.

hi jane, would just like a quick update as to how college is going using tea, is it still preventing episodes? also have u tried any other from the range that may have worked better? is there a diet or anything else thats helping atm? thanks a bunch!! your replies are really valuable for other lgers.

College is still going ok. I've just had about one or two incidents where someone made a comment or gesture (but those were just on bad days). I think the tea is still helping, I've tried green tea, lemon tea, and peppermint but the apple cinnamon spice works the best for me. For my diet I don't eat meats (only seafood like fish, shrimp etc.), but otherwise I just eat normal things. I try to drink as much water as I can everyday. I have a problen with eating too much junk food and snacks also lol that's mainly bc I'm in school and don't have time to go to the cafe alot of times. So overall, I stray from heavy meats and stick to fish instead, otherwise my diet is pretty much normal. Also try to keep your stress level down, I think that plays a factor into our problem (for me I have to take meds and go to counseling to regulate that).

do you take any medications along with tea? I have the same problem as yours and I discovered you through the post about flatulence... I honestly dont know what to do about it... I have tried drinking tea every morning before (green tea) but I think that just made me worse

I have anti-depression meds I have to take (citalopram 20 mg) and that's basically it. How do you feel drinking tea made you worse? Like does it cause more flatulence for you?

Hey jjane14, I'm a 14 year old female who has the same problem as you. School is absolutely hell. During summer break I'm trying to find something to cure this problem and I'm glad I found someone who has found something that has helped. I just wanted to know how fast did this tea start working?

Hi, I feel like within a few weeks the tea helped me. But I don't want to make it seem like this is the "ultimate cure" for everyone, but drinking tea (and other factors such as staying away from heavy meats) has helped make a difference for me and I hope it does the same for you. If you ever need someone to talk to feel free to message me anytime, school was absolute hell for me also so I understand. Hang in there!
