I went for my 7 week ultrasound yesterday and there was no heartbeat and the sack hadn't grown much since last week. Last week we also saw a slow heartbeat - looked like it was just starting to beat. However, 3 days before that I was told I would probably miscarry because they couldn't see a viable sack and 4 days before that we saw a beautiful sac with a yolk sac too. I have a tilted uterus and I've had 4 ultrasounds. 2 of them have been easy to see the sack and 2 of them hard because the uterus was tilted at that time. One of these times happened to be yesterday. They told me stop progesterone and come back in a week for another ultrasound and blood work. My hcg was 7900 last Monday and 11,000 this Monday. Although it didn't double - she said it usually doesn't double at this point and starts to taper off.
I am looking for hope that maybe they had trouble seeing because of my uterus being tilted at the time of my ultrasound. I've read alot of stories online about pregnancies that turned out fine...and was hoping to find more.
