RAI I131 dosing questin

There is a big agruement going on in the community with what you are asking. Right now, you have the question that no one seems to have the same aswer to. In the end it the patient and our families who deal with the "perscribed" treatment.

Kat's husband bought a Gieger counter, he has some stats and statistics that show how much radiation you will put off, for about how long, and he will go over the theory of "wet" or the theory of saturation of radiation you will produce and leave in your home.

I begged to be put in the hospital because I personally believed it would be too much radiation in my house. Lucky for me I love two hours by freeway and my doctor understood my concerns so he kept me in the hospital for the first 3 days. My girlfriend chose to stay in a hotel, another friend hose to stay with her parents in a spare room, others chose to stay home and believed the doctors were telling the truth when it came to no or low risk to their children and pets.

Various websites, list various doses with various restrictions. I looked for months...from Thanksgiving 2009 to Feb 9th 2010 and I found zero consistency. I have grilled doctors, nurses and patients for the exact questions you have been asking. If you find more info that I did. Please share I would gladly love to read it. My best advice is to do what you and your family is most comfortable and able to do.

PS Kat works as a MRI tech in a Nuclear Medicine Department. So when her husband is quoting how much radiation she is out putting, it is based on the college education in medicine she has received and his research.

Thanks fo much.  I think I jumped the gun and asked you a few questions about your pictures.  That was probablly the wrong place,  well Im new at this site and not reall good on the comp.  I agree this seems to be a topic of grate debate.  I to cannot get definate ansewrs.  I will keep lookin but time is running out.  I can too push to stay in hosp. but dont know wich way to go:)  
I was also wondering how much you know about TSH levels I am at 63 os of today and thats with bieng on the low -iodine diet for 7 days.   How do you think I should be feeling?  

I didn't start to feel horrid and super hypo until I was close to 90+. I felt kinda crappy less than 90 but 90 and over, YUCK! Many feel fine, me I dunno just felt awful. I would rather eat the RAI 131 pill naked in a room full of people than have to be severely hypo again.
