Can someone tell me if this makes sense?

Silence isnt always a bad thing, my darling. If you listen to the sound of silence, you'll hear everything. I like being at peace allowing my thoughts to sit beside me, rather than have their pulsing words find a way from my earphones into my heart, and then defeat me with the emptiness and sadness that they may sometimes hold. What im saying, is its better to hear nothing and hear the beauty in everything, than hear everything and gain absolutely nothing...

"Silence is an important factor in many cultural spectacles, as in rituals"
in your case i think it's important for you to use silence as a tool
your ritual would be to use silence after your' finishing a large project that was successful (like your oral presentation)
and the beginning of something BIG your 3 essays that need to be prepared for you EXAMS, the BIG ENCHILADA

using VISUALIZATION is helpful as well, as in visualizing that you can get the same 9/10 mark you got on your oral presentation ....................on your essays coming up for your exams......... what do you think about that?

Sometimes An honest conversation with your loved ones about how you feel or what you think beats the calm of the peaceful silence.

Marcy, i really like what Jimmi has said here, when your words are sitting beside you, why not share them with a loved one? You had mentioned that your mom and gram hadn't asked you about your marks... when you got your marks it would be great if you automatically opened up and gave them your marks, I know maybe in the prior years you had been a little shy about telling your gram and mom about marks, but things have definitely changed, within you, and it's showing in your works and in your marks. The past is the past Marcy, let it go ~ Grow and change with your circumstances now... It's part of the gift that goes with earning better marks in school, the ability to be open and share them and be proud and yell it from the roof tops....

My son is in College right now and it is my greatest gift in life to have him call me up and tell me about what he did for his exams and then wait and hear what marks he got for them... Let your mom and gram know that it's okay for them to ask about your marks, by being open with them and letting them know you want to talk about it (now)...

It wasn't long ago that your mom sat and talked with the school about the problems that you were having, and NOW LOOK AT YOU, getting an A in English.... it's a MIRACLE... YOU"RE A MIRACLE ... let your mom and gram know the GOOD NEWS ... and get used to it, the news will stay good.. just keep and stay ahead of the game, like you've been doing....
