How I am feeling: PUMPED!!!

First day of my new healthy eating plan! This has definitely been long overdue, but hey, better late than never, right?

So, my goal is to lose weight for the last week of January. New Year, New Me, all that stuff. But this isn't a New Year's resolution. This is just my promise to me, to look after myself better. I'm not trying to lose a specific number of kilos, or get myself down to a certain weight either. I'm simply going to track my process, and celebrate every small victory.

I'm planning to eat less (portion control), make healthier eating choices, and drink more water and exercise more. As this is my first day, I'm going to start off slowly; if I start off too strong, I won't be as motivated to keep it up over a long period of time.

So today, I am going to start off by having a smaller lunch than usual, a slightly smaller serving of dinner, and I am aiming to drink at least four glasses of water, and exercise for at least five minutes. Sounds simple enough, right? Seeing as today's a Thursday, I will slightly up the ante start of next week (Sunday, not Monday. It never seems to work when you start these sort of things on a Monday). I will then aim to drink at least 6 glasses of water, and do eight minutes of exercise every day.
