I'm so frustrated right now!
Okay, so far pregnancy has been nothing like I was prepared for. I keep seeing the phrase over and over: you should gain 25-35 lbs during your pregnancy, and there should only be about 2-5 lbs gained during the first trimester." What a bunch of crap! I've gained over 10 lbs so far, and I am only on week 8! And I'm not doing anything differently! All the information and all the books basically say that as long as you stay active and eat healthy foods, weight gain should stay within the normal range. What am I doing wrong?!? I'm sure it would look like I'm just lying around stuffing my face with junk food all day, but I have not changed my eating habits and I'm still fairly active. I'm terrified by how much weight I've already gained because it is so far outside the normal range. And I feel hungry all the time. I put so much effort into getting healthy and losing weight the last couple of years, and now I'm afraid of being obese after I'm done with my pregnancy. I don't know what to do, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
