I have read things on the net but it nevers says how much or when to start it. NEED HELP!!!  Thanks.

Yes you can start it whenever you want...even if your period has not come on yet. The way I read it online, you start with 2-3 pills a day (space them out) for 8-12 weeks, and then go down to 1 pill a day after that. Vitex works best when your on it for a long period of time. I have read great reviews about it and many women have their cycles improve, along with the PMS symptoms to. Vitex is also great for those of us with PCOS, as it does have reviews on helping with the menstraul cycle. I was looking into starting this too, but I'm on birth control at the moment and Vitex does not agree with any birth I might hold out on it for now.

I think with metformin and your vitex (and any other herbals/meds your starting) will work great for you.

I wish you all the best.

Thanks I will start them then as soon as I get them. I want to try this frist before I do the Met since I am worried about all the side effects it has. I Have read too good thing about Vitex, I have a medhelp friend who too told me to use it and it has work for her both times and now she has again a BFP... I like it because its works with your own hormones and not some drug to make more of one thing and not fix the other. I like that it helps with all of PCOS problems. I did alot of looking into before I bought them last night. I also am drinking red respberry tea and it too helps alot and I have read good reviews and sucess storys.

Thanks and I wish you all the best too.

I am taking Vitex (Agnus Castus) cause I hear its best for those who have PCOS and it will regulate your cycles with your own hormones. I also take it with red respberry tea 2x day and it is good. The respberry tea helps the uterus and helps not to MC and you can also take it all the way to labor. I have read many awesome things about it. Look up viex or you can see it on my other journal its one there as well the information I got on line.
