Thoughts

Jun 19, 2010 - 4 comments

Does anyone else ever feel like they're drowning in their own thoughts? I hate summer because I have too much time on my hands and it makes me feel depressed, which is dumb I suppose. This year's just been so stressful and this week's been a relapse of everything.

RANDOM. I love this quote.
"People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that's bull****. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they're afraid to feel it?"

Also, why are people so afraid of change? :\ I don't get it. I mean, yeah, I do get scared at the thought of large revelations per say, but... yeah, I don't know.

Blah.

MMMKAI.

Live your life just like a dream without the pain of goodbyes.

I like what you wrote :-)  Thank you for sharing it.

I learned some time ago that it is easy to fill your self with other's thoughts when you are empty and that can include drowning out silence with music.

The following is someone's perspective on thoughts:

If we examine our thoughts, we shall find them always occupied with the past and the future.
Blaise Pascal

I really, really like that quote. It's really relative to me right now. As much as I tell myself I'll focus on the present, it just never happens. I don't fully understand what is so consuming about the past and the future. The past is done and over with, but it will always haunt you. The future is near and far, destined and never certain, and completely full of contradictions.

Life is so weird.

Danielle:

Please, please, please, don't stop being you :-)))  You are willing to examine and to be open, to question.  The answers will come because you seek them.  When they don't fit....you will know it.

Pain isn't something we easily embrace.  It does hurt to love...we love imperfectly.  We can give the best we think we have and others don't respond or look at us like...is that it????

That is why we must not focus on others satisfying us in our "loving".  Love is a gift and when it is genuine....nothing compares.

I'll certainly try. But you know society.. it's a giant mold that's plucking the innocent minds of children and spray tanning them, hahaha.
