Multiple people have told me that if you have schizophrenia and need the disability that eventually you will get it so I guess just keep fighting for it.

SSD is known for denying you twice, most usually get it on the third round, as long as you dont give up before then. This is what people tell me who have applied. It is a long process.

I've worked w people with schizoprenia and helped them get SSD you have to apply several times and eventually it should come through. It's a legit reason to file!  If worse comes to worse get a lawyer to help and make sure you are in counseling that should help with the burden of proof and as I always told my clients, please stay on your meds. Stay safe and best of luck!

my husband has been refused too,we have appealed twice we are on our third try now,the panel are harse but annoying they dont do a medical on you just question you,and they think they know whats wrong with you or whats not wrong with you,sad really,my husbands last hearing was awful he didnt know what to expect so went in blind really, all i can suggest is get every piece of medical evidence you can lay your hands on and ask your doctor if he would be willing to attend with you or write a letter for you, thats our next step good luck.

My brother (RIP) had schizophrenia and received SSD. It was a long time ago that he started getting it and I'm not certain if he got SSD the first time around or what, but you WILL get on SSD.  I really suggest you check into getting a SSD attorney, one that will except payment when you get on SSD.   They really know how to go about this process and can take the pressure and stress of the appeals off of you.
Good luck to you.

Here in the state of Pa it is common practice that they deny you benefits twice. Getting an attorney that does this on a regular basis will help you. YOU WILL get what you need !! You just keep up the fight, don't let the bastards wear you down.  A big hug cause you really could use one.

My dad is on SSD for dementia, last stages COPD, and I dont remeber what other reason, but it took 3 times and an attorney for him to get on. He hasn't had a problem since. Good luck and hang in there you will eventually get it, plus they will pay you from the time you first filed on.

Most definitly get an attorney my sis has several mental health issues and fought for 3 years an attorney speeds up their dragging feet. Take Care and Hang in there it will happen. I think they do this counting on people just giving up so don't do it :)
