Asthma

Went to doctors today as yesterday midwife said for me to not use any over the counter allergy relief whilst pregnant.
Seen Dr Obu who's Great. Gyny
Was perscribed
Piriton
Steroid nasal spray x2
Eye drops
Steroid Inhalor
Nebuliser
Turns out i'd been coping...didn't realise i'd developed equivilant of Gestational Asthma!
Thank goodness perscriptions are free in UK when pregnant or would have cost nearly 50 quid!!!

I have asthma too and it seems to be much worse in pregnancy. But I'm allowed to take certain over the counter allergy meds at least and I have to use my steroid inhaler at least twice a day or breathing is difficult. Amazing how our bodies change in pregnancy. I hope your big bag of meds help. I'm in the US and with insurance I don't pay anything out of pocket for my meds either which is sweet because I would be spending about 400 dollars a month on prescriptions. YIKES!
