protein diet

started a protein diet in april and have steadly lost about a pound to a half pound each week. I read in a magazine that there are two types of people, those who lose weight by eating protein and others by eating carbs or was it fat?    I am just recovering from a bad cold so my memory is not up to snuff. but my body is obviously the one that loses with protein!  3 cheers!!
