Flickering lights in complete darkness.

Can you describe that for me in more detail?

A few years ago, I had what I called the "electric light show" when I closed my eyes to go to sleep. I would "see" blobs of color floating across my field of vision (even though my eyes were closed) or have them zoom in and out. There could also be bolts of color, like in those static electricity globes. Sometimes it was only one color, and then other times, it could be a myriad of colors.

I mentioned this to a co-worker who said it could be retinal damage. I did get checked out and everything was fine.

It started again this week and has happened two nights in a row. This time it is just blobs of color and they are blue.

Is this anything like what you are experiencing?

Hi! It is nice to hear from you. My vision sounds a lot like yours, but I don't have the blue blobs of color when I close my eyes, rather just like someone turning on and off a light constantly. The past week I have started noticing changes in colors. The white letters on my Droid keyboard turn blue, or green sometimes. Even when I am outside it is like someone is flipping on and off a light switch, it gets bright
white, then normal. I went back

to Neuro and he did a bunch of blood tests. I am on Avonex, have had hair loss, weight loss, extreme fatigue, dx'd in March with MS, all symptoms of MS, except hair loss. Seems now I have hyperthyroiditis and b12 deficiency which causes visual problems, along w/MS. Waiting for done other results, will let you know what I find out. I take 5000 mg of b12 a day, test came back level was at 112. So who knows
