The prolapse in my back is becoming worse. I've tried to strengthen my back, and I've been to a physiotherapist every week since half a year. Walking uphills is the worst trigger - until yesterday.

I have become very aware of lifting correctly, but what can I really do? I don't think that I did anything wrong yesterday other than actually lifting. On the vehicle yesterday we had a light-weight patient (120 pounds), no trouble - but when I got out of the ambulance to get the stretcher out, I again got this shooting pain in the left thigh/knee/foot.... It hasn't stopped yet. It's not just the aching. This comes with other - not mentioned - problems too.

The good thing is that it's not slippery outside yet and today, as yesterday, I don't need to change to winter-tyres....

Just rambling.

Sciatic problems and prolapse - NOT FUN!

Well, I thinks me needs to read some of your old entries!  Sounds to me like you are working at the job I thought you had given up on!  Or maybe I was confused!  I am so sorry to hear about your pain!  OMG I know the nightmare of the sciatic nerve issue!  I have been suffering for the past 6 years with it!  Doesn't help not having any health insurance.  So i have gone without any medical treatment of any kind for that long as well.  Good news is I found a little Japanese lady that does reflexology for $20 an hour! YES! $20 an hour!  It is simply unheard of!  She is wonderful!  I wish I could go everyday!  Once I get working here I just might! ((giggles))  OK, I just wanted to say I will keep you in prayer & add you to the prayer chain!  Love you sweetie & be good to yourself! ox Mum xo
