Over a period of about 6-8 months I was having times where when I stood up from a sitting position I would feel this pressure in my head. I contributed it to allergies possibly the oxygen I am on 24/7 because I had only been on it for six months and was still recovering from being in the hospital 6 moths prior for low oxygen levels. Six months ago I still lived in Iowa. For the past four months we moved to SC so I can be near my family as they live in SC. So I did not put a lot of thought into the pressure I felt inside my head. I also have hypertension so I thought maybe it was that as well. in Iowa I had Home Health Nurses coming in and checking my vitals 3 x a week...
After moving to SC the head pressure came back. Over the course of 2-3 weeks or so on a regular basis I have had the head pressure only it has gotten worse. I normally cannot get up with having it. It feels like when I was a kid and would hang upside down for a long time on the monkey bars on the playground at school. it is that sort of pressure. Sound changes along with it. The sound matches the pulsating feeling I get. It does not last very long but I do not stay on my feet too long either because it scares me. I do not get a headache every time with it but I've had some pretty bad headaches with them and ones that last a full day!
My blood pressure has been doing funny things.its been running very low. My Dr thought I was having blood pressure problems. Following an appointment I had with her I began having chest pains and called and told her. She told me to go to the ER. They put me in the hospital from Tues-Friday. They did tests on my heart. A stress test where they inject stuff in you to get your heart to do what it would do if you were walking on a treadmill. I have a lung disease and the walking would not be tolerated well. They did n echocardiogram., sinus CT scan, and a lung xray and of course LABS LABS LABS!
Everything was fine but my blood pressure did drop low a good bit. My Doctor then sent me for a MRI of my brain. Results came back yesterday with a a small brain Aneurysm. I am being scheduled for a MRA next. Needless to say I am scared and overwhelmed! I have ha so many health issues and diagnoses in the last year.
