I got my answer today. I cannot do any work from home. It still comes down to not being able to monitor what I am doing and not knowing my working conditions at home. Which, I really do not understand since I have gone over all of this several times and if there were still question, why wasn't I asked these questions?
To top it all off, they eluded to my not performing as well as I should given my experience. What's funny is, they want more sales out of me but I don't have a sales background and was not hired as a sales person. I have a customer service and supervisory background. And basically, if I don't start bringing in more sales it will affect my performance review in September and they only way they will consider letting me work from home is to make more sales.
Oh, there was more that was said but I just can't get into right now. Needless to say, I am so very upset. After this was told to me, I wasn't offered an alternative and don't know if the initially offering still stands. I just don't have the energy or nerve to ask right now as I was already ready to cry when I got this news.
