Transfer is delayed

Well I just got back and I'm really disappointed. Apparently, he would like to do a hysteroscopy in a couple of weeks before the transfer. He said I know you are disappointed but I really want your lining and everything to be perfect since you were so close the last time. He sees something on my lining and he wants to look at it. I understand and I want everything to be perfect too, its just disappointing. Anyway, I'll talk to you ladies later, I have a headache that won't quit.

hang in there. I know how disappointing it is when you are so close, and have to take a step back. but it will be for the best

OMG! I, like I am sure you are, am wondering why he didn't do that why you were waiting!!! ugh!!! I swear, they just don't know what this does to us!!!! This waiting can actually make us crawl out of our skin, and go absolutely positively insane!!! I 100% understand your frustration, you know that.

I am sending you a big hug my friend. Please remember I am hear to vent to whenever you need. You know I get it. I am still expecting when I go on for my lining scan, for mine to be delayed too.... It just seems neverending.

Same exact thing happened to me! I initially cried from disappointment, and then when I got a clear bill of health, I thought the postponement was for nothing! In the end I realized that since I hadn't had one done in a year (not even after a DNC), it would've just added to the fear of miscarriage. I am happy I can go in knowing everything is fine. Anyway, my time has arrived (I hope). I have my transfer with donor egg in less than 3 weeks.

Thank you ladies. I know its important to have this done but I'm just going to have a pity party for today lol. I mean really whats another few weeks after all of this? ugh

I know how you feel, The hysteroscopy and dnc wasn't that bad and if i get my BFP this month then I will tell you to get it done! I am surprised that you didn't do this before. Keep me posted my friend!

ooh *****!!! this IS disappointing but u no what? Im a firm believer that after delays ALWAYS comes some thing better. when a bump arises in the middle of nowhere I just no for a fact that things are getting better. u just focus on whats coming after that and trust me ur gonna b SO happy about it. ur still so close and nothing is gonna stop u after that!!

Mel - the funny thing is he said to me, you had it done in December but we want to do it again.  Well why I have to be put to sleep this time I don't understand.  The last time, I was awake?

Hala - I know I have to be a little more patient.  I'm trying lol.

journey, I believe with hysterscopy D&C you are usually put to sleep. Is it possible that in December you did another test.?

The last time he used the hysterscope to see the lining, I was awake, I was watching as he was doing it. I think this time because he is going to do probably a D&C thats why I am being put to sleep this time. I know it will only help so I'm trying to be a little more patient.

No he never said he wanted to do a D&C just the hysterscopy - he said because he sees something on my lining - maybe a small polyp and wants to remove it. That's why I'm thinking it will be more of a D&C, isn't that how they do it, just scrape it out?

Yes, I just had mine done and they told me the reason they put you to sleep is if they find something then they can just remove it all at once! Good luck honey, we are so close to our FET keep me posted!
