I thought it would be a little difficult getting in and out of the city for my appt today, but that was a piece of cake compared to what I had to deal with in NJ today.
There are so many road closures, floods, trees down, it looks like a disaster. I was out of the city by 8 and on my way to my job but I had a road closure so I didn't know where to go from there. I'm not familiar with the area so I took a wrong turn and ended up lost. I had to call my dad to give me directions to get back on track. I tried to call my job several times, but no one was answering. At this point I figured they were all having trouble getting in too. I get home and call back again, still no one. I decide to look at our website as we have a live chat room, so I figured I would get someone then. No one was in the chat room. I waited about 10 minutes, and finally someone was there. Apparently the phone lines were down, so I had to call my supervisor on his cell. Once he gave me alternative directions I was back on the rode. I finally get there and the phones are still down. So they finally came up at noon, but I was ready for a nap by then. lol
So I leave at 2, and I thought I'd take the same way back, but I missed an exit, once again leaving me lost calling my dad lol. I finally get back on track, and because three times a charm, I once again take the wrong exit. So what is usually a 20 minute ride home, turned out to be an hour.
Did I mention I missed the RE's call twice in the middle of all of this? They left me a message, but I had questions so I am waiting for them to call me back again. All I know is I go back on Thursday for BW and sono, no meds yet. What a day.
