Warning- possible TMI!!!!!

So after my proceedure i felt great- no cramping or pain- slight brown spotting- no big deal.  Went to eat wil dh and walked maybe a block from parking lot.  Went slow felt fine.  Ate dinner and went home.  Was laying on my friend's white couch and felt dampness- told my DH something was wrong.  I went to the bathroom and gushed blood.  I was scared to death.  Yelled for DH and we immediately called hospital.  We are staying at friends and they were gone for the weekend- I changed clothes - borrowed a pad from her and a cloth diaper to sit on in the car! I hated taking things without asking.  DH packed a bag but we forgot it! Left on lights and the TV.  We did manage to lock the front door!  It was the LONGEST 45 minute drive EVER.  I was so scared I was losing my babies.
I just reclined the front seat and tried to relax.

Getting into the hospital was a challenge!  But we got there and they did a sonogram and examined me.  I love the dr for checking the babies first.  It was the same one who did my proceedure.  We had good heartbeats and they were moving fine.  Membrane was fine, no detachment.  Cervix looked fine.  They did an exam and she found a big clot.  She thinks since i was slightly previa- the contractions and cramping caused that part of the placenta to sheer off.  I am praying it has all come out.  I do not know if my heart can take it!!!!!!!!  I was hospitalized overnight and am on strict bedrest.  We go back tomorrow.  We are supposed to fly home tomorrow- but we will see!

The other good news was the baby with less fluid was up to 2.3 cm!!!!!!!!!!

So that is where I have been!  Hope you all are well!

I am sorry you had a scare like that.  I also had the passing of the clot issue around 9/1.  I was in hospital for 2.5 days. I passed two clots & it stopped.  I have not passed anymore & no more spotting.  They never determined where mine came from.  They just have alot of guessing.  I pray that this is the end of yours also.
I have a journal on it, if you want to read.  Hang in there..... We are all praying for you!!!

So glad to hear that everything is okay.  So far it sounds like these babies have a pretty good guardian angel - I trust that will continue.  I hope that you are recovering from this scare and are feeling better.  Hang in there - my thoughts and prayers are with you.

i passed some clots in my first trimester ...... it was so painful.  this was caused by me lifting the garbage bags twice...yes i know.  i did not go o the doc, as a matter of fact the doc still does not know up to this day.  what i did was just to relax in bed and do nothing and kept my legs elevated and rubbed my back.  that helped.  i am now 22wks + 5dys

glad to know you are ok hun and babies too

I am so sorry to read about your scare. I too had this same type of scare 3 times. The last time was in Aug. Since then, no bleeding and spotting... knock on wood. I too was diagnosed with partial previa. Since Aug, Baby A's placenta has moved up and away from my cervix. I was never hospitalized though. Don't worry, you will be fine and the babies too. Bed rest is not easy but it's the best thing for you and your babies. I hope you feel better soon.
