Hanging by a thread.....

So I went to RE office to ask about getting a lap to rule out endometriosis and was shut down. I knew they would dod that, but was hoping to be treated fairly. I was instead lectured about my age and that If I wanted to be treated by them I need to get into IVF program which surprise surprise, is not covered by Kaiser. I actually feel like it's their job to get covered patients to IVF so they can recoup some of their lost money. When I talked about my symptoms of heavy flow and excruciating pain I was told "things change as we get older." ---- REALLY? I couldn't even attempt to be assertive after that because it was all I could do to keep from crying. I'm so threw with this office and will be choosing a PRIVATE INSURANCE this open enrollment so I can see a doctor who doesn't work for the insurance company. Kaiser doctors are salaried by Kaiser! This is an obvious conflict of interest.

So this is my last medicated iui cycle for this year. They made it clear that they will not treat me any further, and honestly it's probably for the best. I am getting nowhere with these people. If I had the $$ for IVF, I'd do it in a heartbeat! But never will I do it with them!!

omg - so sorry you have to go through this. Why would they want you to do IVF before they rule out endo??? If you have endo, your IVF would mostly likely fail. It all makes NO sense to me. Find another dr! Good Luck!
